Our Culture

With a humble beginning in 1998 with one manufacturing unit, we have transformed and evolved to six manufacturing facilities in India and Italy. We have successfully carved a niche in the Indian T&D segment being front runners in Tower & Overhead Transmission Line Accessories business.

With our proactive and forward thinking approach, we continuously implement both forward and backward integration to ensure our businesses are competitive. Today we are the only company who manufactures Transmission Tower with Steel Angles and Fasteners required in Transmission Towers and Overhead Transmission Line Accessories in an integrated way.

Be it learning the Manufacturing Methodology, Design Competence, Productivity Enhancement, Supply Chain Optimization, Key Account Management, SAP etc., we at Karamtara are always willing to give the best learning opportunity to our employees.

The Employee Orientation Program for new employees covers Company profile, Business verticals, Products, Manufacturing and Department orientation followed by knowledge & skills required for the Role to perform.

Besides classroom training practical/ experiential learning facilitates required functional capability of an individual. Continuous "on-the-job" learning provides in-depth knowledge and expertise to the employees in their area of activity. Supported by their supervisors and seniors, the employees get to learn new and different ways of conducting a job by continuously upgrading the competency levels.

Employee growth in the organization is directly linked to employee performance. A deserving and well performing employee can move across different functions and locations. The employees are given regular feedbacks on their performance which motivates them to work better and efficiently.

The Trainees undergo a comprehensive learning process. They are reviewed at regular intervals and the Individual Development Plan helps them to fulfill the role requirements in accelerated way.

Freshers

We hire Fresh Engineers and Management Graduates in all functions. Diploma Engineer Trainees, Graduate Engineer Trainees from Mechanical and Production background are considered.
