In 2004, the Group observed a need for large scale production of auxiliary tower equipment to supplement the growing demand in the Transmission and Telecommunications sector. The KFPL plant thus was set up to manufacture high quality High Tensile and Mild Steel Fasteners.

As a self-contained unit with state-of-art equipments and systems, KFPL can cater to unique customer specifications and offer reliability and quality. KFPL’s present capacity of 15000 MT per annum is one of the largest in the country. Its plant has been approved by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for Fasteners used in Transmission Towers. The KFPL plant has been awarded certification by ISO 9001.

KFPL has supplied Fasteners to KEC International Limited, Jyoti Structures Limited, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, Gammon India Limited & EMCO Limited. Long term clients for KFPL include Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as well as other Electricity Boards and Telecommunication majors.

The in-plant quality control systems offer benefits of efficient and reliable Fasteners, KFPL has added the advantage of an in-house Ceramic Galvanizing Bath, which has helped KFPL gain an edge over other manufacturers in the industry.

KFPL has a range of offerings including Nuts and Bolts in diameters ranging from 4mm to 72 mm. Grades offered are from 4.6 to 12. KFPL also offers Studs, Threaded Bars, Washers and Screws along with manufacturing Fasteners that suit different needs.
